Alex paid no attention to John’s insults. Looking at Bill’s corpse, flashbacks from Alex’s childhood to adult ran through his mind like a movie slideshow. However, none of his memories showed that Bill had treated him with a good heart. In Bill’s eyes, Alex was probably nothing but sh*t compared to Spark. Recalling Bill’s ugly face when he cursed him and his mother last time, Alex instantly came to the realization that Bill hated them so much. Alex replied calmly, “John Rockefeller, are you blind? The old man was killed by Secretary Kimmich. As for her, everyone knew what you two were doing back in the maid’s bedroom. How dare you slap me at the entrance of my house? Get ready for jail!” Just as Spark finished his sentence, Alex swung his palm and slapped him across the face again. Alex thought, ‘The area was too dark and the attackers had assassinated out of nowhere. They had flawlessly left as well. And, those three smoke bombs, they were so irritating that one could not even open his eyes to see. How could I possibly see who did it?’ The woman rubbed her face and angrily said, “This is all your fault. If you didn’t let her go at first, why would she be killed? Great, now we’ve completely lost our trail.” With that, she punched the steering wheel hard. “Ah!” Suddenly, she screamed in pain. Anna held her fist as she grimaced in pain. Looking at her fist, she realized that her fist had turned black and swollen. Pepper’s needle that was used to attack her earlier was smeared with poison. “You’re poisoned again,” Alex said after taking two glances at her fist “Ah! Then… then help me get it out!” “I’m not in the mood for that.” However, he noticed that the poison in Anna’s fist was quite potent. As he checked her arms, he found that venomous black lines had fully spread through it. Alex then ripped the fabric off of her shoulder and realized that the poison had been spreading toward the heart. Alex shook his head and placed his palm on her heart, with the forbidden territory nearby within his reach. Anna’s face was flushed red as she bit her lower lip to endure such embarrassment However, she noticed that the venomous black lines gradually retreated back to her palm after being forced by Alex. Alex had used his Chi to force it back to her hand. “Do you have a knife?” “Yeah!” With just one slice, Anna’s finger was cut open and a flood of black blood gushed out. “Alright, now start the car and meet up with your Leader Sky. I promise to become a guest member of Divine Constabulary, but I need some privileges.” “Really? You’re going to accept the offer?” Anna was overjoyed and turned to Alex, yet he had his eyes closed with an upset expression, as if he didn’t want to talk at all. An hour later, Alex received a tag in his hand. This tag looked similar to an identity card, it was a representation of members of Divine Constabulary. Guest members had much more freedom than official members as they could schedule their own missions. Moreover, they would only be deployed for emergency missions, especially that they were local. More importantly, Sky had assumed Alex to be an expert that was ranked above Mystic rank. It would be best to keep such a skilled fighter under their watch for greater use. After all, Alex was their secret weapon, how could they possibly deploy him for any random missions?
