An Understated Dominance Chapter 2430 by Marina Vittori

“How many tricks does this old geezer have?”

The impact of the divine talisman explosion left everyone both shocked and enraged. No one had expected that Arion would still manage to unleash such a powerful supreme divine power even after the Glow Incantation was broken and the lightning strikes failed to cause any harm.

The impact of the thousands of divine talismans exploding at once was terrifying. Only the strongest fighters- Willem, Bailey, and Batuul-could withstand it. The rest of the group was severely injured. At that moment, they finally realized the terrifying strength of Dragonmarsh’s strongest man.

“Impressive,” Willem said, landing smoothly after being thrown back. His withered skin was now covered in cracks, and blood oozed from it.

Most of the shockwave from the explosion had hit him directly. Despite his impressive defense, he still took some damage. However, these injuries were nothing to him. His wounds had already healed within a few seconds, as if nothing had happened.

“Unfortunately, that strike still doesn’t cut it.” Willem dusted himself off and sneered. “If you want to kill me, you’ll need at least ten times that level of destruction. The question is, do you have what it takes? You must be exhausted by now, right?”

He believed that Arion’s sudden outburst earlier was just a last-ditch effort. If it didn’t work, he would just have to be killed.

“Then, why don’t you find out for yourself?” Arion replied impassively. Throughout the fight, he had remained rooted in one spot and used only one hand.

“Sure. Let’s see if you can stop me.”

Willem and Bailey exchanged a brief Hook before charging toward Arion together, launching another attack.

Batuul, Anthony, and the three elite assassins-Vanzan, Shyvan, and Noir- quickly followed and surrounded Arion. They couldn’t believe that with all their combined strength, they still couldn’t take down an old man.

“Since you’re so eager, I’ll play with you.” Arion reached out with one hand, and a black-and-white sword suddenly appeared in his grip.

With a swift step, he turned into a blur and charged directly toward Willem and Bailey. This time, Arion didn’t use his supreme divine power. Instead, he chose the most direct approach-pure swordmanship.

The Celestial Slay in his hand was ranked number one on the Divine Weapon List. Many years ago, during the Era of Demon Banishment, he rose to prominence and cemented his reputation as the strongest man in Dragonmarsh with this very sword.

With the sword now in hand, his strikes became even more lethal. Even against a group of top-tier elites, Arion seemed to have the upper hand and didn’t even break a sweat.

His swordplay was flawless, and every strike had countless variations. What seemed like simple moves were actually the result of refined mastery. With his remarkable agility, he effortlessly handled the fight, even when outnumbered.

Willem and his allies continued to launch relentless attacks and used various tactics. However, Arion effortlessly countered every move. His sword left deep cuts on their bodies with each strike.

nlike ordinary weapons, the Celestial Slay had a unique property-any injury it caused was slow to heal.

Once struck by the sword, Willem and Bailey found their defenses and healing abilities severely diminished. Their bleeding wounds now took a long time to heal, and it was something they had never encountered before.

After all, they relied on their formidable physical bodies, which made them nearly impervious to blades. Their remarkable healing ability also allowed them to recover quickly from any injury, as long as it wasn’t fatal.

But the Celestial Slay stripped them of these advantages. As their wounds grew worse without healing, panic began to set in.

Earlier, Willem and Bailey could use their bodies to resist weapons. But now, they were forced to fight more cautiously since they feared being struck in a vital spot. Fortunately, they had powerful allies like Anthony and the others. Without them, they might have been in grave danger.

“There’s something strange about the sword in his hand. Everyone, be careful! “Bailey warned.

“This old guy is ridiculously tough to deal with. I can’t lay a finger on him it’s so annoying!” Willem growled, gritting his teeth in frustration.

He thought his speed was unmatched and that no one could stop him when he attacked with everything he had. But Arion dodged with a strange movement technique every time and quickly countered their attack.

With each exchange, Willem failed to land a blow on Arion and ended up with more injuries. Though not fatal, his wound healed slowly. If this continued, he knew things were going to turn against them.

“Everyone, stop holding back. Use whatever you’ve got, or we’re all dead today!”

After so many failed attempts, Bailey’s patience had worn thin. With multiple wounds and his stamina draining fast, he was struggling to keep up.

Meanwhile, he noticed Arion grew stronger with each passing moment. If they kept fighting like this, defeat was inevitable.

Bailey knew that Anthony and the others must have some killing moves saved for a critical moment. But if they didn’t pull out their trump cards now, they wouldn’t be able to kill Arion or leave Sacred Wrym Summit alive.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
