An Understated Dominance Chapter 2427 by Marina Vittori

Thousands of golden whips lashed out with the force of a storm, and it was impossible to dodge.

The group led by Bailey launched their attacks to block and continually struck the golden whips. With each collision, energy erupted, followed by loud booming sounds. 1

Arion stood firm like a mountain. His body was enveloped in golden light as he swung his whips. Even though he was outnumbered, he still held the advantage.

Bailey and the others couldn’t break through at all. A few slightly weaker gods from the Hall of Gods were forced to retreat with each lash and struggled to withstand the onslaught.

At that moment, everyone finally realized the terrifying power of Dragonmarsh’s strongest martial artist. Even the attacks evolved from the Glow Incantation were enough to throw them off balance.

“I don’t believe these things can stop me!”

Bailey roared as his body began to change. His already large frame grew even bulkier, like a small mountain. His shirt tore as his muscles expanded, and his muscles became dense and rock- like beneath his skin.

Along with his size, he experienced an explosion of hair growth that turned into a thick, unruly coat that covered his face, chest, and limbs. Then, sharp claws sprouted from his big hand.

He looked like a towering black bear walking upright at a glance-strong, brutal, ferocious, and commanding.

After his transformation, Bailey’s strength and defense skyrocketed. The golden whips that once threatened him now barely scratched his skin. Instead, he effortlessly tore them apart with his bare hands.

“Go to hell!” he bellowed and charged forward like a tank. The golden whip blocking his path was effortlessly torn apart as he bulldozed his way through with unstoppable momentum.

As Bailey closed in on Arion, he threw a thunderous punch and slammed it against the golden light.

A deafening explosion shook the ground. The seemingly impenetrable Glow Incantation trembled under the force of the blow.

The resulting shockwave rippled outward and forced Bailey to retreat a few steps. After a brief pause, he stepped forward again, and his fists rained down like a relentless storm as he pounded against the golden light.

Each punch from Bailey reverberated like thunder, and his overwhelming strength shook the shimmering barrier. Under his relentless assault, the golden light surrounding Arion dimmed noticeably.

The sight sent the others into motion.

While Bailey unleashed his rampage, the other elites seized the moment and used their supreme divine powers to hammer away at the defenses of the Glow Incantation.

It didn’t matter if Arion was Dragonmarsh’s strongest martial artist. Even the mightiest would fall when they’re up against the combined strength of these elites.

Seeing that the Glow Incantation couldn’t hold up, Arion formed a single -handed seal and pointed at the sky. ”

Let the storm descend!”

With a deep, resonant hum, a massive Eight Trigrams Formation appeared in the night sky. It spanned over a hundred feet and enveloped all the enemies within its reach.

Arion quickly formed another hand seal, and the formation spun at a terrifying speed. Lightning crackled, and thunder rumbled as an invisible pressure descended. It weighed down on the enemies like a crushing mountain and slowed their movements.

“Strike down!” Arion gestured down in a commanding motion.

The Eight Trigrams Formation blazed brilliantly, unleashing thick, purple lightning bolts as wide as a man’s arm. Lightning rained down in relentless waves as countless strikes hammered the ground in an indiscriminate onslaught.

The enemies caught within the formation turned pale with fear as they hastily activated their protection armor energy. They had all witnessed the sheer destructive power of Arion’s Stormcraft. Even the formidable Willem had been blown away without mercy, so who would dare to test their luck against it?

However, not everyone chose to defend.

The transformed Bailey ignored the lightning crashing around him and kept pounding Arion’s shimmering golden light with his fists.

Bolts of lightning hammered him relentlessly. Yet Bailey barely flinched as they struck him, and he continued his assault as if nothing had happened.

His ability to endure the full force of the Stormcraft strikes left the nearby fighters secretly amazed. Taking those hits head-on was something no one else would dare attempt.

He truly lived up to his title as the Grizz Lord. Being a ruler in the underworld of Streuqua wasn’t a title earned by just anyone-it meant he was a monster among monsters.

“Break it now!” Bailey roared, and his fists hammered down with unstoppable force. Each blow was brutal and relentless.

After hundreds of strikes, the golden light around Arion finally began to crack. Bailey seized the opportunity and drove his sharp claws into the fracture.

With a mighty pull, his massive arms tore the barrier open. The once- impenetrable golden barrier now had a gap in it.

“Bailey! Let me help you!” Seeing this, Willem transformed into a cloud of blood-red mist and weaved through the lightning before slipping through the gap.

“Time to die, old geezer!” Willem smirked as he reformed behind Arion. Then, he opened his bloody mouth and aimed for Arion’s neck.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
