An Understated Dominance Chapter 2412 by Marina Vittori

After taking the enhanced serum, everyone became increasingly worked up. Their strength skyrocketed, and their thirst for battle was off the charts.

The atmosphere in the room was electric.

“Is this the Hall of Gods’ enhanced serum? This stuff is amazing.”

“I can already feel the power flowing through me. I’m itching for a fight.”

“Those worthless Dragonmarsh martial artists-tonight, I’ll ensure they’re wiped out completely.”

“Since you have such a treasure, why didn’t you bring it out sooner? How much of this serum do you have left? I’ll buy it all.” Willem’s voice was full of swagger.

“These are premium S-class serums. They’re extremely rare and reserved only for the higher-ups. We don’t sell them to outsiders. What I can offer you are A-class serums. But, if you’re interested, I could send you a batch for free,” Bailey replied generously.

“In that case, I won’t hold back.”

Willem laughed heartily.

Getting something for free was always the best deal. Whether for personal use or resale, it was an opportunity too good to pass up.

“Mr. Grizz Lord, you can’t be too biased. Our people in Eskus are also quite interested in this enhanced serum,” Vanzan chimed in.

“Don’t worry. Once the mission is a success, the Hall of Gods will reward you generously. You won’t be left empty -handed,” Bailey promised.

At these words, everyone couldn’t help but smile with satisfaction. Though they were allies, they were still working for the Hall of Gods. Without a reward, they wouldn’t be all that eager to continue. Fortunately, Bailey had promised that there would be a hefty reward if the mission succeeded.

“Alright, it’s almost time. Let’s proceed as planned,” Bailey said with authority.

“Got it!” Everyone nodded and quickly dispersed.

The elites from each nation led their respective teams. Their objectives were clear-some were assigned to create distractions, others to lay ambushes or assassinate. Everyone had a role but would also support each other as needed.

The Hall of Gods had been planning this operation for a long time and ensured every detail was set for perfect execution.

In addition to the main forces, many external personnel were brought in to assist. Of course, they were little more than expendable pawns meant to draw enemy attention.

Once the main forces had left, Bailey stayed behind with Hank.

“How are the arrangements on your side?” Bailey asked.

“Mr. Bailey, Dustin, and his team are ready and waiting.” Hank lowered his head.

“Dustin has outstanding talent and endless potential. If he devotes himself to the Hall of Gods, he’s definitely worth investing in.” Bailey suddenly changed his tone. “But his background is unclear, and we can’t trust him completely yet. Keep an eye on him, and be cautious.”

“Don’t worry. He has already taken my specially formulated poison. His life is in my hands. If he makes any move that goes against us, he’ll have no way out. He’s smart and won’t risk his life,”

Hank replied.

“Either way, keep a close eye on him. If he’s trustworthy, put him to good use. If not, kill him before he becomes a problem.” Bailey’s eyes flashed with cold intent.

Dustin had great potential. By the time he was 30, he had already reached the level of ultimate grandmaster, with limitless potential ahead of him. If he had pledged his loyalty to the Hall of Gods, he could be an invaluable asset. Otherwise, he would have been a serious threat to them.

“Understood.” Hank nodded firmly. He didn’t fully trust Dustin either. He was simply relying on the fact that Dustin had taken the poison, which gave him leverage over him. After all, no one would risk their life knowingly.

A massive fire suddenly broke out on Sacred Wyrm Summit in the dead of night. The flames were intense and quickly spread from the mountain’s base and raced upward. The bright blaze sliced through the darkness as thick smoke billowed into the sky.

Chaos quickly unfolded on the summit.

Disciples scrambled to put out the fire, and some martial artists who hadn’t left yet jumped in to help. No one had expected something like this to happen on the heavily guarded Sacred Wyrm Summit.

As the people of Sacred Wyrm Summit scrambled to extinguish the flames, the forces from the Hall of Gods began to move silently.

One after another, assassination teams targeted the summit’s top martial artists. Some infiltrated the main hall, causing havoc, smashing everything in their path, and killing anyone they encountered.

In response, Sacred Wyrm Summit sounded the emergency bell and activated the mountain’s defensive formation.

Experts from all corners of the summit rushed to the main hall, whether in the field or seclusion, to stop the invaders.

Even the guards at the forbidden grounds had to leave their posts to lend a hand.

The summit was soon overwhelmed by chaos, with the air thick with the sounds of battle.

Despite Kaden’s preparations, the scale of the attack still caught him by surprise. The Hall of Gods had sent too many invaders, and Sacred Wyrm Summit’s forces were too few to hold them off.

Left with no choice, Kaden sent a distress signal and hoped the major guilds would send reinforcements to relieve the pressure.

While Sacred Wyrm Summit’s experts were busy fighting fires, several elite teams from the Hall of Gods quietly infiltrated the summit’s forbidden grounds.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
