An Understated Dominance Chapter 2375 by Marina Vittori

Under the crushing force of the three- headed, six-armed ethereal divine spirit, the last of Dalen’s clone immediately shattered into fragments.

The crowd erupted in chaos, especially those women who had supported him. They screamed in anguish, and some even fainted. Watching such a handsome man reduced to dust felt like a tragic waste.

Amid the stand uproar, Fenley remained unfazed in the battle ring. When the ethereal divine spirit struck Dalen, what had exploded wasn’t a body but a ball of air.

In other words, the figure who had just shattered was merely a clone. Where was the real Dalen hiding if those nine figures were all clones?

Just as Fenley frowned in confusion, a sudden sense of danger prickled at his scalp. He instinctively looked up and saw Dalen diving toward him headfirst with a folding fan in hand.

Dalen descended silently, like a meteor hurtling toward the ground. The tip of the fan was a half-sheathed sword, and its edge glinted menacingly.

“You’re courting death!”

As Dalen plunged toward him, Fenley reacted swiftly and raised both palms above his head. A surge of grandmaster -level internal energy erupted from him, crashing out like a tidal wave.

A loud explosion rang out as Dalen’s ambushing figure exploded and dissolved into a wisp of vapor.

“It’s a clone?” Fenley paused, momentarily taken aback. The danger he sensed moments ago was unlike anything he had experienced. So, how could that have been a clone?

A metallic sound rang out from behind him. Dalen had somehow flashed behind him, thrusting the sword- tipped fan straight at his back.

But the anticipated image of a heart- piercing strike didn’t materialize. As the sword pierced Fenley’s shirt and grazed his skin, it encountered an invisible shield of internal energy that deflected the blow.

Only a few knew that the Four Elements of God’s Technique was more than an offensive technique. It also offered near -impenetrable defense.

When executed, it became virtually impervious to blades and fire without leaving any weaknesses to be exploited. So, an ambush like that wouldn’t inflict a scratch.

“Guess it wasn’t going to be that easy after all,” Dalen muttered.

As Fenley turned toward him, Dalen had already retreated and swiftly widened the gap between them. His Spectral Clone Technique had been executed flawlessly and managed to deceive Fenley. Unfortunately, his raw strength just wasn’t enough.

The impenetrable defense of the Four Elements of God’s Technique was simply too strong to break through. It was a wasted opportunity.

“He’s not dead? Dalen is still alive?”

“Not only is he alive, but he nearly wounded Fenley. This guy’s no joke.”

“Such mastery of illusion and deception. The way he uses the Spectral Clone Technique is on another level.”

Everything had happened so fast. Dalen had fooled Fenley twice with his clones and even created a window for a sneak attack. Though he failed, his battle instincts and intelligence were undeniable.

“You… are impressive.” Fenley glanced at his torn clothes before staring at Dalen with a hint of menace creeping into his expression.

He continued, “You were so close to injuring me, but that small difference in skill is an unbridgeable gap.”

Fenley had to admit that Dalen was formidable. Before his breakthrough, facing him would have been a challenge. But that was no longer the case.

No matter how skilled or agile Dalen was, he was just a grandmaster martial artist. Meanwhile, Fenley had already attained the level of ultimate grandmaster, and that distinction made all the difference.

With Fenley’s current level of cultivation, as long as he executed the Four Elements of God’s Technique, Dalen wouldn’t be able to break through his defenses.

That was the gap between them. From the beginning of the fight, Fenley was already unbeatable.

“You seem much stronger than yesterday. Looks like you’ve broken through. You must’ve paid a steep price for it.” Dalen’s eyes gleamed as he noticed Fenley’s presence was strikingly different from what it had been just a day before.

“Sharp observation. But you’re mistaken about one thing. My breakthrough was effortless. It just happened a few days earlier than expected,” Fenley replied coolly.

“Well, congratulations.” Dalen smiled faintly. “But even if you have broken through to another level, winning the championship won’t be easy.”

“Whether I win or not isn’t your concern. Since you know the difference between us, it would be wise to admit defeat. It’s better for both of us,” Fenley urged.

He rarely bothered talking with ordinary martial artists. Instead, he’d just crush them outright.

However, Dalen was different. His mastery of the Spectral Clone Technique meant defeating him would take more effort than Fenley wanted to spend.

With a tough match against Glenn coming up, he couldn’t afford to waste energy on Dalen.

“Admitting defeat would be too humiliating,” Dalen said, still smiling. I may not be able to defeat you, but I’d like to see just how deadly the Four Elements of God’s Technique really is.” 11

“You’d be risking your life if you want to see my killer move. The real question is-are you ready for the consequences? “Fenley asked coldly.

“I’d like to find out,” Dalen grinned.

“Fine. Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll make it happen.” Fenley’s patience snapped, and his eyes turned icy.

They had no personal grudges, and he never intended to kill. But if Dalen insisted on pushing his luck, Fenley wouldn’t hesitate to show his ruthless side.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
