An Understated Dominance Chapter 2346 by Marina Vittori

George’s brutal treatment of Jermaine’s body had already stirred up a lot of anger. As he stepped into the battle ring again, the spectators booed and cursed at him.

“Ugh! Just seeing this bastard makes me sick. I want to kill him.”

“Disgusting heartless scum!”

“He got away with it last time, but now he’s facing the Grand Sorceress of the Mystic Arts Order. Let’s see how he dies.

The spectators were furious as they shouted and cursed at George, but he didn’t care. His eyes were locked on Abigail, and his lips curled into a wicked grin. He couldn’t hide the lust in his gaze. “Tsk, tsk… Hey, gorgeous. Fighting is a man’s job. As a woman, your duty is to bear children.”

His eyes roamed over her as he grinned wider. “Unfortunately, Dragonmarsh martial artists are weaklings. They don’t have what it takes to satisfy someone like you. But I can guarantee you’ll experience pure pleasure with me,” he said and laughed heartily.

His words were like a spark that ignited a wildfire, causing the spectators to erupt in a storm of curses.

“Fucking bastard! I swear I’ll kill you.”

“That damn scum is way too cocky. Enough is enough.”

“I’ve had enough. I’m going to rip him to shreds today.”

Angry shouts filled the air as the spectators seethed with anger. Publicly harassing a woman was already despicable, but to insult all Dragonmarsh martial artists along with it was even worse. George’s behavior had sparked public outrage.

Shouting insults was the mildest reaction. Some hot-headed martial artists couldn’t hold back and were ready to throw punches. Their aggressive stances made it clear they were prepared to take George down for good.

As they charged forward, the Sacred Wyrm Summit disciples intervened to keep things under control. Despite their own anger, they stayed composed. No matter what, the tournament’s progress couldn’t be disrupted. Those martial artists would have to settle it in the battle ring if they wanted to fight.

“What a bunch of losers!” George turned to glance at the Dragonmarsh martial artists below the ring, who were shouting and fuming. He didn’t flinch but smiled contemptuously. With a dismissive thumbs-down, he taunted them openly.

His gesture pushed the Dragonmarsh martial artists over the edge. After all, a man could be killed but not insulted. Being taunted by a foreigner like this was more than they could stand.

“I’ll take you down.”

“Damn it! I’ll cut you in half.”

“Bastard, prepare to die.” 2

A group of martial artists broke through the Sacred Wyrm Summit disciples’ blockade and charged toward the battle ring.

George grinned menacingly and slowly clenched his fists. He planned to take this opportunity to kill them.

Just then, a tall figure descended from the sky and blocked their path. Oron waved his left hand and unleashed a powerful gust of wind that sent all the martial artists on the ring flying several yards away.

He waved his hand again, and a blue barrier instantly covered the battle ring. Anyone who touched it would feel like they were being electrocuted, their bodies convulsing and their limbs going numb.

“Settle your scores off the ring. Whether it’s life or death doesn’t concern me, but no one interferes with the match,” Oron warned the martial artists.

He then shot a cold glance at George. If you keep provoking and inciting the crowd’s anger, you’ll face the consequences.” 11

George sneered without saying anything. He typically dismissed Dragonmarsh martial artists as insignificant, but he knew better than to cross Oron.

“Without further delay, the third match officially begins,” Oron quickly announced before things spiraled further out of control.

“What do you think of my proposal earlier, gorgeous? Want to experience my strength in a more personal way?” George continued to tease Abigail.

“Don’t worry. We can talk about our future once I cut out your tongue, gouge out your eyes, and castrate you,” she replied with a cold, indifferent gaze.

“Oh? Let’s see if you’ve got the skills to back that up.” He smiled.

Given his strength, defeating a woman as frail as Abigail would be a breeze. However, he wasn’t rushing to win. He wanted to humiliate her in front of all the Dragonmarsh martial artists.

“Venom Serpent! Go!” She quickly raised her hand and flicked it. A black shadow shot like an arrow from her sleeve and headed straight at George’s throat.

“Your attack is too weak, gorgeous.” George smiled. Instead of dodging, he reached out and grabbed the incoming shadow.

Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a black, snake-like creature. But when the creature lifted its head, he was taken aback. Though it had the body of a snake, it had a human face and looked incredibly eerie.

“What the hell is this?” George felt a shiver of unease. As he tried to shake the strange creature off his hand, the face of the snake-like creature suddenly opened its mouth and bit into the web of his palm.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
