He paused for a moment and pressed his lips together before saying, “Although I’ve never asked much about your relationship with Tess, I know that your family has always been against it, so I’m worried that they’ll use this matter as an excuse to attack her. With a nod, Nicholas answered, “I get what you mean. I’ve also been thinking about this for the past two days.”
“Well, have you sorted out your thoughts yet?”
“I plan on registering our marriage here in the next two days. I’ve already gotten my men to prepare the documents,” said Nicholas, telling Timothy about his plan while looking at him.
The latter agreed with Nicholas and said with a nod, “Yes, the wedding can be planned later. It’ll be better to register for your marriage first.”
After seeing Timothy agreeing to his decision, Nicholas continued, “This matter is still under preparation, so I hope you can keep it a secret for me and don’t let your sister know. I want to give her a surprise.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll keep the secret for you,” Timothy promised with a smile.
On the other hand, Tessa had no idea about the discussion between Timothy and Nicholas.
She wasn’t sure whether it was because of Nicholas staying by her side and taking care of her that made her in a good mood every day, but her condition while in training these days improved, and the minor mistakes that she always made previously were reduced as well.
At the same time, her appetite had increased in the past few days, so she was eating quite a lot. Her face also looked healthier with her pink cheeks.
When she saw that Tessa had such a good appetite, Mona felt relieved. “I was worried sick about your health previously. Now that you’re getting better every day, I’m finally at ease.”
When Tessa heard that, she recalled that she had made Mona worry about her previously, so she said in embarrassment, “I’m sorry for making you worry.”

When Mona saw Tessa becoming angry from the embarrassment, she smiled even brighter. “Look at how lively you are now! You’ve really been nourished by love.”
Two days later, Tessa was ready to go for her orchestra practice after having breakfast with Nicholas, Timothy, and Gregory.
However, just as she stood up from the chair, Nicholas stopped her. “Can’t you skip orchestra practice this morning? I need to take you to a place.”
“What place?” She looked at him curiously.
Nicholas just smiled and didn’t answer her question. “You’ll know when we reach there. You should go upstairs to get changed first. I’ve already asked the maid to prepare the outfit for you, and it’s on the bed.”
“Why are you being so mysterious?” Although she found him suspicious, she still complied and went upstairs to change her outfit.
It was an embroidered white bodycon dress, and it came with a white mink shawl. When Tessa wore the dress, her near-perfect figure was on full display. That figure, together with her exquisite face, made her look as beautiful as an angel.
“Miss Tessa is so pretty.” Gregory was the first one to notice Tessa coming downstairs. Once he saw her, he trotted up to her with a surprised face.
Hearing that, Nicholas and Timothy looked up, and they were amazed by what they saw.
At this moment, Tessa also noticed that they were all formally dressed. It was especially so for Nicholas, for he looked more charming than he usually was. In fact, it seemed as though he had spent a lot of time dressing up.
After getting lost in her daze for a moment, she held Gregory’s hand and walked over to them before asking, “Are we going to a banquet?”
When he saw the curious look on her face, Nicholas smiled happily and said, “You’ll know when we reach there.” As soon as he said that, he naturally held her hand and left while Timothy followed from behind.
Half an hour later, they arrived at their destination—Vienna City Hall.
Tessa looked at the building in front of her, feeling stunned. She could already predict what they were there for.
