Jared glanced at the disciples of Medicine God Island, each one wounded, while countless bodies floated on the surface of the sea.
Despite this, not a single alchemist from the island had fled or backed down.
“Mr. Laurent, don’t worry. I will avenge your fallen. Today, I will annihilate every last one of these Sky Slasher Sect b*stards. None will be left alive,” Jared declared as the Dragon Slayer Sword slowly materialized in his hand, a terrifying killing intent surging from his body.
The remaining disciples of Medicine God Island were emboldened by Jared’s presence. Their eyes turned red as they shouted, “Kill, kill, kill! Avenge our fallen buddies!”
Stanton frowned as he eyed Jared. “Who the hell are you? This is our business with Medicine God Island. If you don’t want to die, then get lost!”
Stanton was curious about Jared after witnessing him incinerate dozens of Sky Slasher Sect disciples with the demonic fire and effortlessly destroy the formation trapping Sylvain and the others.
“My name is Jared Chance. Medicine God Island’s business is my business,” Jared replied.
“Jared?” Stanton was taken aback, his eyes gleaming with realization. “Are you the Jared who has been hunted by the Demon Seal Alliance using the hundred-year offering? Haha! What luck! Not only will I take Medicine God Island, but I’ll also kill you and exchange your head with the Demon Seal Alliance for the hundred-year offering!”
“You think you can kill me?” Jared stood fearless before the Sky Slasher Sect.
“Kid, you’re too arrogant. There are hundreds of us, and you’re just a small cultivator in the sixth tier of the Tribulation Stage. We’ll trap you all in a formation,” Stanton sneered, raising his hands toward the sky.
Instantly, dark clouds gathered overhead, and the ocean waves began to surge violently.
At that moment, Maxence arrived in haste.
“Father!” Maxence called out, rushing toward Sylvain.
“Maxence, stay back! Don’t come any closer!” Sylvain shouted, his voice filled with concern.
He couldn’t allow Maxence to get trapped in the formation with them.
However, Maxence ignored his father’s warning and flew directly into the cloud-covered sky.
Seeing this, Sylvain could only sigh in helplessness.
“Well, well, Sylvain. Looks like you and your son will be reunited in death,” Stanton mocked.
“Beasts of the Sky Slasher Sect, don’t you dare gloat!” Wyatt roared.
At that moment, a dozen spirit ships rapidly approached from the distance, each filled with alchemists from various regions of the Celestial Realm.
Braving the stormy winds and crashing waves, they drew nearer and nearer.
Seeing the approaching alchemists, Sylvain scolded Maxence, “What is this? Didn’t I tell you to get everyone off Medicine God Island? Why have they all come here?”
“I-I don’t know. I told them to leave, but they all came anyway,” Maxence stammered.
“Mr. Laurent, since they’re here, we have more hands to help,” Jared said.

Seeing the mass of alchemists gathered, Stanton became even more excited. “Hahaha! This is perfect. You’ve all come, saving me the trouble of hunting you down one by one. Today, I will use this formation to kill every last one of you. After this, there will be no more alchemists left in the Celestial Realm!”
Stanton laughed maniacally as the dark clouds loomed lower and lower.
All the disciples of the Sky Slasher Sect began to chant in low voices, their lips moving in unison as they recited incantations.
From the bodies of the Sky Slasher Sect disciples, black mist began to rise, slowly gathering into the ominous black clouds above.
