Within the Celestial Battlefield, Jared, along with Cloud and Judith, found themselves in a desolate place.
Judith gazed at the scene before her, her face filled with astonishment.
This was her first time seeing such a place. She had traveled the entire eastern region, but this area clearly didn’t belong to any part of it.
Jared and Cloud, on the other hand, remained calm. They had both been to the Celestial Battlefield before, so they were well acquainted with its nature. Nothing here surprised them.
“The Celestial Battlefield seems incredibly desolate. It’s even more barren than the eastern region. Could there possibly be any magical item here?” Judith asked in confusion.
“Whether there are magical items or not, nobody knows. It’s all up to luck. We might not find anything and could end up losing our lives here,” Jared said nonchalantly.
“Huh?” Judith was taken aback. “Could there be danger here?”
“You don’t need to worry too much. It’s usually safe.”
After Jared finished speaking, he walked straight ahead without hesitation.
Cloud and Judith followed behind, stepping across the barren land and leaving a trail of footprints.
Clearly, no one had been here before. Those who had initially entered the cave were probably sent to other parts of the Celestial Battlefield.
After all, teleportation into the Celestial Battlefield from the entrance was entirely random.
Jared activated his spiritual sense, hoping to probe his surroundings and see if anyone had entered before him.
Just as his spiritual sense expanded, a mysterious force suddenly shattered it, leaving him feeling dizzy.
His expression changed drastically. His face was filled with disbelief.
He was well aware of the strength of his own spiritual sense, yet it had been shattered so effortlessly.
“Such restraining power, this Celestial Battlefield seems far from simple,” Vermilion Demon Lord commented.
Even within Jared’s consciousness, he had felt the immense power of the unknown force.
After a moment, Jared’s mind gradually cleared. Looking out over the vast, desolate landscape, he began to question whether entering the Celestial Battlefield so recklessly had been the right decision.
Right then, the sound of footsteps echoed from nearby. Catalina and Rightblind slowly approached.
Seeing Jared’s condition, Catalina smiled faintly and asked, “Did you activate your spiritual sense and get attacked?”
Jared was momentarily taken aback, but he remained silent.
“There are restrictions in this place. It’s impossible to use spiritual sense to probe, let alone unleash any spiritual energy. Even the thought of flying through the sky is out of the question,” Catalina said to Jared.
Upon hearing this, Jared immediately tried to channel his spiritual energy, only to discover that it was indeed being suppressed.
He quickly summoned every other force at his disposal-the Power of Dragons, nascence power, and even the Power of Three. Yet, all of them were firmly suppressed, and he couldn’t unleash even a fraction of his potential.
Jared’s expression darkened significantly. If danger arose now, he would be like a lamb
waiting for slaughter.
“How is this possible? How do you know about these restrictions in the Celestial Battlefield?”
Jared didn’t understand. This was Catalina’s first time in the Celestial Battlefield, yet she seemed to know so much about it.
“I’ve just heard about it,” Catalina replied with a slight smile. But Jared didn’t believe her.
She simply didn’t want to say more. Since she didn’t want to talk, Jared didn’t press the matter.
“Once you enter the Celestial Battlefield, everyone becomes ordinary. You’re forced to rely on your most primal strength, making this place incredibly brutal. Out there, you might have been top-notch, but here, you’re just an ordinary person. Be careful not to run into any danger,” Catalina reminded.
Jared took a deep breath, slowly calming himself. After all, his physical body was quite exceptional. Even relying purely on his physical strength, he had no fear of anyone.
Moreover, he had Sacred Light Fist-a technique he could execute with just his physical strength without any need for magical power.
For Jared, this restriction might actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
