“No. I heard that Jared was only a Seventh Level Tribulator. Still, even at that level, he’s more than a match for Aiden,” Jared replied with a faint smile.
After hearing Jared’s words, the cultivators present were astonished. They all began to ridicule Jared, convinced he was merely spouting nonsense.
After all, claiming that a Seventh Level Tribulator could defeat a Top Level Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator was no different from making a joke.
“Who’s saying that a Seventh Level Tribulator can defeat an Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator? I’d really like to see who’s so audacious.” At that moment, a chilling voice echoed.
The next second, Rainier, leading his men, entered.

“Don’t worry. Since we’re at Pathfinder Sect, I won’t take advantage of the weak. Still, since someone values Jared so much that he’s bet so much money, I’ll place a bet too. However, I’m betting on Aiden to win.”
After Rainier had finished speaking, he tossed a bag of purple spirit coins, placing his bet on Aiden’s side.
After placing his bet, Rainier cast a cold glance at Jared and said, “Brat, I hope to see you on the day of the fight. Don’t you dare run away.”
As he spoke, a surge of energy suddenly erupted from Rainier, heading straight for Jared.
Jared was merely a Seventh Level Tribulator. Logically, a slight bit of pressure from Rainier should’ve been enough to bring the latter to his knees.
Yet, when Rainier’s presence bore down on Jared, Jared remained rooted to his spot, seemingly unaffected.
Rainier couldn’t help but furrow his brows and further intensify his aura.
To his surprise, Jared remained still. Evén though Jared didn’t move, the people around him couldn’t bear it any longer.
Many people gritted their teeth, pushing themselves to their limits, while some even collapsed onto the ground.
“Fellow cultivator, I hope you’ll do Pathfinder Sect a favor and refrain from causing trouble here.” Rory’s face flushed red as he spoke to Rainier.
At that time, Rory was struggling to endure the aura and could only resort to using Pathfinder Sect to threaten Rainier.
Rainier withdrew his aura. After casting a surprised glance at Jared, he turned and led his men away.
