Jared gave Dimas a look of disdain, saying, “Why is a nobody like you interrupting our conversation? It’s true that I’m no match for him, but I can still kill you with a snap of my fingers.”
“You…”
The look in Jared’s eyes struck fear into Dimas, causing him to back away and hide behind Pablo.
Dimas did not doubt what Jared said. If the latter endeavored to kill him, even Pablo couldn’t save him.
As a result, Dimas no longer had the guts to provoke Jared any further.
Meanwhile, after watching the scene before him unfold, Cameron asked anxiously, “Elder Nesser, should we lend Mr. Chance a hand?”
“There’s no need to…” Skylar shook his head.
“But Elder Nesser, Mr. Chance has helped the Nesser family back in the far north. We can’t just stand by and watch, can we?” Cameron remonstrated.
If he hadn’t worked together with Jared back then, he would have been killed by the Five Slayers from Demon Seal Alliance.
“Don’t worry, Jared won’t die that easily,” Skylar commented nonchalantly, his gaze fixed on Jared. The remark surprised Cameron, and he gave Skylar a suspicious look. He couldn’t understand how Skylar knew that Jared would survive.
It sounds as if he knows Jared very well.
“Have you come to your senses, young man? Are you going to do as I say, or do I have to beat you into submission?” Pablo asked Jared.
“I have never submitted to anyone before. My stance remains the same even in the face of an immortal, let alone a lowly Eight Level Tribulator like you. Even if I can’t beat you, I’ll still make you suffer in whatever way I can!” Jared declared with a vicious look in his eyes.
“You’ve got guts, kid. In that case, show me what you’ve got,” Pablo sneered.
“I’ll be honest with you. I still have a lot up my sleeves that’ll shock you.”
No sooner had Jared finished than he pulled out a long whip. Before Pablo could tell what weapon Jared was holding, the latter cracked the whip at him.
However, Pablo didn’t bother to dodge, his eyes brimming with contempt, for he knew that someone of Jared’s caliber couldn’t hurt him at all. With his body protected by Dark Demon Armor, whatever weapon Jared used was futile.
However, when Demon Flogger was about to strike him, Pablo was abruptly gripped by fear, panic clearly visible in his eyes.
The reason for that was that Demon Flogger’s aura could pierce through Dark Demon Armor and reach into his consciousness field.
Crack!
Upon impact, Pablo groaned as he retreated three steps back. He felt as though his very soul had been struck by the whip. The resulting pain was so excruciating that he could barely breathe.
As for the other Demonic Cultivators, the fact that they weren’t struck by Demonic Flogger didn’t stop them from feeling a sting in their hearts from its aura, as if someone had punched it.
“What weapon is that?” Pablo asked, brows furrowed.
“This is Demon Flogger, made specially to whip Demonic Cultivators like you,” Jared replied with a snigger.
“Demon Flogger?” Pablo’s eyes narrowed slightly. “No wonder my Dark Demon Armor couldn’t stop it. It’s a weapon that attacks a Demonic Cultivator’s spiritual sense.”
“Now that you know its power, get lost before I kill you with it,” Jared threatened as he raised Demon Flogger.
“Hahaha, I can’t believe how naive you are. Do you think you can defeat me just because you have Demon Flogger?”
Pablo burst into hearty laughter.
“Why don’t you give it a try, and you’ll have your answer…”
With that, Jared crack the whip at Pablo again. As for the other Demonic Cultivators, all of them turned tail and ran, worried about being caught by Demon Flogger’s scathing attacks.
